Kennel Club Dog Training and Practical Obedience Classes

As I work mainly with family pets, I really want all the dogs I am involved with to be happy, well behaved members of society who can go anywhere with their families. My Tuesday Training classes follow the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and I pride myself on running the classes in a relaxed and fun atmosphere for both dog and their owners.

I also run an outdoor practical obedience class on which offers more practical obedience training such as group dog walks, real life recall training etc.

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme is the UK's largest dog training programme introduced to assist owners in training their dogs to be obedient in everyday situations. Its simple but effective techniques encompass all the skills necessary for a happy and rewarding partnership with your dog.

Dogs come in all shapes and sizes ,types, breeds, ages and abilities. All are capable of learning and despite previous notions you can teach an old dog new tricks, but you do need to consider the type of dog you own and the task that you are trying to teach it. That's why the scheme is of great benefit as it is an exciting way of interacting with your dog and learning life skills together.

There are 4 levels of the scheme, namely Puppy Foundation,Bronze,Silver and Gold , each one developing an owners understanding while building a dogs confidence and levels of obedience.

Classes take place on Tuesday evenings at 730pm for beginner to intermediate level obedience (Bronze and Silver Kennel Club Level) and at 830pm for Advanced level obedience (Gold kenel club level and beyond!!!) at Higham Memorial Hall.

I also run a daytime obedience class for all levels on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at my outdoor training venue at Chattenden,Medway,Kent. (weather permitting!!)- please contact for details.

The cost of the classes are:

£20 for the first class and then £10 per class attended.
