Hello,
My name is Adrian Kollnberger MCFBA
I have had dogs in one way or another for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up my parents always had dogs , when I left home the first thing I did was rehome a dog from my local rescue centre. in 1992 I joined Kent Police and in 1998 I finally acheived my dream and became a Dog handler with the Police.
During my time on the Dog Section I have worked with German Shepherds , Labradors , Spaniels , Belgian Mallinois , Rottweillers and had dealings with many other breeds. With my Shepherds I have competed in the Police Working Trials at Regional and National Level.
- Police Dog "Monte" -enjoying his retirement.

Through my experience with the Police and since starting my own behavioural and training consultancy I have gained experience of dogs with a wide range of behavioural problems from dogs with severe aggression to dogs with phobias or simple training issues.
I am a Full Member of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association (registered number SO39 www.CFBA.co.uk) and have completed accredited courses with the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training.I am also a member of The Guild of Dog Trainers which is an independent professional body committed to maintaining and improving the quality of dog training, behaviour and companion dog ownership in Britain.

Police Dog "Arnie" - The new probationer!! -

My philosophy is one that every dog is different and that there is no rule book in training a dog. I aim to see a problem from the dogs point of view and to keep my training methods simple and sympathetic to the dog and their owners needs.

Hi
My name is Tasha Collier.
From a very early age I have been around dogs - some good , some not so good!
Most recently (5 years ago) I owned an English Bull Terrier Roxy ,who, although I loved her dearly, had her own collection of behavioural issues (mainly aggression towards anything with fur) and due to a lack of knowledge at the time, this obsession worsened and made my life very awkward.
Quite suddenly , Roxy passed away and although at the time it was the ultimate heartache I realised the only way to repair my broken heart was to get another dog but I knew that I had done everything wrong and vowed that my next dog would be totally different.

After much deliberation I got Ch'e, a puppy Doberman. The breeder (Ray Hawksbee, Delanimus Dobermans) was extremely helpful and gave me endless guidance and information to help me start on the right foot with Ch'e. This help and guidance encouraged me to research dog training further. With Ch'e I attended obedience and agility classes to an advanced level.
After a year I decided to get another Doberman. This time a female called Kyla. My obsession with dog behaviour and dog training progressed and I trained full time with another trainer where I learnt about dog psychology and how dogs interact. I also learnt how this psychology can be used by humans to help train their dogs along with a wide variety of training methods , such as positive and negative reinforcement.

I then gained my certificate in Pet Dog Training (being tested and authorised by Peter Branch one of the top dog trainers in the country ) and then started my own pet dog club as a qualified dog training instructor. Through this I learnt so much more about how we as humans affect the behaviour of our dogs and the importance of the pack!
I then met Adrian, at first I wanted his help to further the training of my dogs but after a couple of training sessions we realised we both had the same philosophy and attitude towards training dogs and the result of this is ABC for Dogs that we both run and thoroughly enjoy!
